STOLEN RECIPES

I'm new to the whole "cooking stuff" scene and I am completely incapable of figuring out how to make my own food. I LOVE other people's recipes and delight in finding (and stealing them) and sharing them with you!

Breads

Banana or Blueberry Crumb Muffins - passionate homemaking
These are great and they freeze really well!

Raspberry Muffins - passionate homemaking

Applesauce Bread - heavenlyhomemakers
My toddler is seriously obsessed with this bread. I carry it around with me.

Soup/Salad/Sandwiches

Dijon Chicken Sandwiches - Passionate Homemaking
REALLY yummy and VERY easy. This is a go-to for lunch company. Don't forget to cut chicken breasts in half (you don't want them too thick).

Salmon/Tuna Melts Passionate Homemaking
These are Quick and EASY! My husband gets really excited about them!

Dinner
Lentil and Rice Casserole - modified by Passionate Homemaking
Frugal, easy, delicious. Husband and Toddler are BIG Fans.

Chicken Pesto - Kelly the Kitchen Kop
This Recipe is a life-saver for company or a busy day! VERY quick and easy. I DO actually purchase the same Pesto from Costco, that Kelly uses. It's very handy, with good ingredients and it freezes well, in case you don't get through it...I stretch it to make lots of these meals!

Kelly's Burritos - Kelly the Kitchen Kop
This is a great way to make burritos...everyone I serve these to, Loves them! Kelly is a marvelous, organic cook, but keep in mind...using the ingredients that work best for your family will work wonderfully, also!

Snacks
Nourishing Protein Bars - modified by passionate homemaking
We really like these and I make them all the time...if you are using a blender (like me), rather than a food processor, it takes just a little more patience...but it's totally worth it!

I cannot say enough about these! Gwendolyn LOVES them! I buy the big box of organic pre-washed spinach from Costco and just grab handfuls out and throw it in the blender ...you can't even taste the spinach because of the FRUIT!

Desserts

Berry Cobbler - passionate homemaking

Delish! ...and not so terrible for you. A few things...Rapadura is a natural sweetener. If I don't have it, I use brown sugar. Also, I rarely use the full amount of butter or sweetener. This recipe is very flexible! Oh, unless I'm serving company, I cut the recipe in half!
