Praise The Lord!

-I was in Target today - which is strange since I am normally a Walmart-er. Anyway, I was carrying my precious baby girl and quickly looking for the item I went in to get. From a few Isles down I heard unmistakable cry of a newborn. The crying was Incessant and was still kept at a steady pace by the time I had reached the check-out.

-I was so overcome with Joy and Gratitude as I held close my silent 4 1/2 month old! I was so thankful to the Lord that things have gotten so much better! I just kept hugging her as waves of relief continued to roll off my shoulders!

-Yeah! Thank you, Lord!!!

Gwendolyn prefers to be a big girl in her cart!

Oh my! She is changing so much! She's turning into a big girl!!! By the way, TARGET is soothing...just shop at Target instead of Walmart! It's cleaner! ;)

You know I had that same revelation when Matthew was about 5 1/2 months old. I realized one day that I was enjoying being around him. I know that sounds terrible, but he was not very fun for the first few months of his life and things were really hard. Then one day, I was having fun playing with him, he went to sleep with no problems and I didn't think "what have I gotten myself into" all day! haha. Glad you had one of those moments too. Here's hoping those moments keep coming and grow in frequency for both of us!

Ok...now your blog is going to be all happy and my blog is about to get all sad and frantic...sigh! At least the second time around you sort of know there is an end in sight... that's what I am telling myself anyway!

Not really similiar but has to do with Target and babies...

Josh and I were registering this weekend and I heard a baby who was not very happy at all. I usually am very annoyed by others who cannot keep their kids quite (God will punish me for this I know.) But all I could think about was how I am so excited to hear that sound from my baby. Weird the stages we all go through. :o)

When I have kids I fully expect to be the woman who takes an entirely full cart of groceries to the service counter and say "sorry - my child is being nuts and needs to get a severe spanking in the car, so - can you put these away for me? Thanks."
